AHTD To Hold Public Involvement Session in DeQueen


LITTLE ROCK (12-3

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in DeQueen to discuss plans for Highway 70, west of DeQueen according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, December 12, 2002, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cossatot Technical College, 183 Highway 399 in DeQueen.      

     Future plans call for Highway 70 to be widened to five lanes from Highway 399 eastward to Highway 71.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
