AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN STUTTGART


LITTLE ROCK (4-21) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Stuttgart to discuss plans for a proposed bypass of Stuttgart , according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, May 1, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Riceland Foods, Inc., 2120 Southpark Avenue, in Stuttgart.      

     Plans call for a new two-lane bypass north of Stuttgart on Highway 165.  The bypass would extend from Highway 63, eastward to Highway 146.                               

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
