Maintenance to Cause Closure of Highway 187 Bridge Over Table Rock Lake

LITTLE ROCK (12-3) -- Crews from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will be conducting routine maintenance on the Beaver Bridge over Table Rock Lake on Highway 187 beginning December 8, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

The bridge superstructure is scheduled to be repaired beginning Tuesday, December 8 and continuing each weekday through Thursday, December 10, weather permitting.

To accommodate the equipment, the one-lane suspension bridge will be closed to traffic between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day. The lane will be open and normal traffic flow will resume at the end of each workday.

Motorists will need to use alternate routes during the closure period.
