Ramp Closure Scheduled on I-55 at West Memphis

LITTLE ROCK (6-16) - A contractor for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will close the northbound on-ramp at the Martin Luther King Interchange (Highway 38/Club Rd.) on I-55 in West Memphis beginning at 5:00 a.m. Saturday, June 19, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

The ramp will be closed for approximately one week in order to reconstruct the ramp. Motorists wanting to use the ramp for northbound access should use the I-40 westbound on ramp at the MLK Interchange.

Southern Pavers, Inc. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas is the contractor on the project. The entire project is expected to be complete later this year.
