AHTD to Hold Meeting in Searcy

LITTLE ROCK (11-10) -- The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss the reconstruction of Arkansas Highway 16 (Maple Street) in Searcy, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers. The informal session will be held Thursday, November 18, 1999, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church located at 703 W. Cherry St. in Searcy. The project is located along Highway 16 between Covington Road and Race Avenue.

The public is invited to visit anytime during the hours to view exhibits and offer comments. Conceptual plans of the proposed construction will be displayed and Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the proposed project and answer questions.
