AHTD to Hold Meeting in Monticello


            LITTLE ROCK (10-30) – The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss the proposed construction of a connector road between Arkansas Highway 35 and U.S. Highway 425 at Monticello, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

            The informal session will be held Thursday, November 16 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Old Post Office located at 278 Gain Street in Monticello.

            The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view exhibits and offer comments.  Conceptual plans and an aerial photograph will be displayed and Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the proposed design and answer questions.
