AHTD to Hold Second Meeting on Highway 70 Reconstruction


            LITTLE ROCK (4-5) – The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a second public involvement session to discuss the proposed improvement of U.S. Highway 70 at Lake Hamilton, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

This meeting is a result of comments received from a similar meeting held February 15.  The informal session will be held Thursday, April 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lake Hamilton Junior High School Cafeteria located at 281 Wolf Street in Pearcy.

            The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to offer comments on the proposal.  Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the project and answer questions.
