Highway Department To Conduct Meeting for Greene County Improvements


LITTLE ROCK (10-23) – The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss proposed improvements on Highway 412 in Greene County, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

The proposed improvements involve widening Highway 412 to four lanes from Highway 141 eastward to Paragould, including the replacement of one bridge. Total project length is approximately 6.5 miles.

The informal session will be held Thursday, November 8 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Crowley’s Ridge College located at 100 College Drive in Paragould.

The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view exhibits and offer comments. Preliminary plans showing a conceptual design will be displayed, and Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the project and answer questions.
